Scholarships and Fees
The 2015 IMESS scholarships have now been awarded. Regrettably, we are not able to provide individual feedback due to the high number of applications.
Academic Excellence Bursaries (€5,000 in year 2) are available for the best performing students after the completion of year 1 at UCL (for students starting in 2014).
IMESS Excellence Bursary
Each year the IMESS Progression Board will award one or more Excellence Bursaries in recognition of outstanding academic achievement. The bursary will be awarded to the student(s) with the highest median mark for their first-year courses, excluding any language module, above a minimum threshold of a median mark of 70% (A). Those with a fully funded scholarship for both years of the IMESS programme will not be eligible for an award and those nominated for a bursary will be asked to sign a statement confirming that they are not in receipt of full funding. In the event of more than one bursary being awarded in any one year, no more than one bursary will normally be awarded to students on the same track.
Applications for the 2016 scholarships will open later this year – you may find more information about the process by clicking here.
There are many other possible funding opportunities available if you missed out this year: take a look through the table below for some ideas. Make sure you also check out the scholarship section of the main UCL website, available here: UCL scholarship information pages.
