NB: Only applicants resident in EU-EEA-EFTA states may apply for a scholarship to visit the University - Higher School of Economics, Moscow, and only applicants resident in non-EU-EEA-EFTA states can visit UCL, Tartu, Helsinki, Corvinus, Charles and Jagiellonian universities.
Applications are invited from academic scholars in possession of a PhD, employed in a research-related academic position, eligible for Erasmus Mundus funding and whose research interests relate to the Central/East European region. The ability to make a contribution to the research culture of the selected IMESS institution as well as to the provision of the IMESS degree itself is sought. Applicants are asked to submit a study plan outlining their research and teaching interests and how they propose to pursue them at their selected institution(s). Visiting fellows will be expected to present their research in an appropriate research seminar series.
There are numerous EU-funded research fellowships available for the period September 2010 to September 2011 with a grant of €1,200 per week.
